About me

I am a born-again disciple of Jesus Christ who was delivered from a life of dead religion (Roman Catholicism), bondage to sin and deception so that I could serve the Living God in Spirit and truth. My faith rests solely in the shed blood of Jesus Christ to cleanse me from all sin such that his righteousness is imputed unto me for I know that in me (that is in my flesh) dwells NO good thing.

I am a firm believer of salvation by grace where I hold to the Scriptural doctrines of election, predestination and the sovereignty of the LORD in all things. Not because I am in a particular “camp” but because these things are taught in the Scriptures where denying them is tantamount to denying God’s word.

My life and faith are founded on God’s grace for it is written that no man will be saved by works of the law for the law never saves, only Christ does. And the law was never intended to save, but rather to act as a schoolmaster in pointing us to Christ who is the end of the law for righteousness to them that believe. With this said though, I testify that I am not antinomian as so many today are but rather believe that God’s moral law is applicable today for it is the law that God writes on the heart of his saints (see Ezekiel 36, Hebrews 8 & 10). Jesus testifies also that if we love him we will keep his commandments.

And even though I walk by faith and know that Jesus is most assuredly my only hope, I do not make void the law by faith for it is written that “[w]hosoever committeth sin transgresseth also the law: for sin is the transgression of the law.” (I Jn 3:4) A law that was summarized beautifully by Jesus where he says unto his bride, “Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbor as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets.” (Mat 22:37-40)

This has been the testimony of the church for nearly 2000 years where only recently thanks again to Dispensationalism and modern seeker-sensitive “theology”, that living a holy life has been redacted from many sermons and teachings. For some good insight into this, check out this video that discusses modern evangelism and how it strays from the pure gospel.

Blessings to all and feel free to write if you have any questions.
